Licensing

We will occasionally update our software licensing as circumstances change.  Your continued usage of the software is an implicit agreement of the license conditions. If you disagree with the license agreement,  then simply stop using the software and remove from your computer 

LICENCE AGREEMENT (applies from 01/07/2016,  changes are marked with italics)

As is the case with computer software generally, the purchaser purchases a license to use the software as per the below limitations.  The purchaser does not purchase the software as such.  The software, help files, documentation and printed matter always remain the property of the author. If annual support is not current (either paid monthly or annually) then the software may no longer be used - at the discretion of the Licensor.  Due to a continuous update process the program may no longer operate and we cannot guarantee it will be fit for purpose.  

Single User offline desktop license - This license entitles the purchaser to use one copy of the software on one computer or terminal only.

Multi-User offline desktop License - This license entitles the purchaser to use multiple copies of the software or provide access by multiple users provided always that only one set of data files are shared.  It does not entitle the purchaser to run copies on multiple sites except where a single common files server is accessed.

Multi-Company offline desktop License - The purchaser must concurrently hold a Multi-User License.  The purchaser is then entitled to access one additional set of data files for each Multi-Company License purchased.

Cloud Licensing – Licensing is based upon a “per seat” usage,  license fees are payable as agreed either monthly or annually.  If license fees are not current then we reserve the right to withhold access

(we will still do backups etc for a further 30 days and if still unpaid the backup files will be supplied down to you and the online account closed)

Other - Database corruption

We reserve the right to charge for repairs to data files not caused by program errors etc. ie if files become corrupted by hardware failure,  or by files being hacked then this is not covered under the normal support conditions.
